Over 6 months and no reply???
I'm finding it hard to believe Comcast has not addressed this. It is obviously an issue with HBO HD uploads to Comcast. The list of OLDER shows and seasons in HD with a sound drop every 5 seconds or so is very long. John Adams. The Wire. The Pacific. The Sopranos. Six Feet Under. I'm trying to watch True Blood and the sounds drops are driving me INSANE. I have checked episodes S01E08 S01E09 S02E01 S02E03 S02E04 and S02E12 and they all have the sound drop.
The sound drop is NOT in any SD shows.
So you can watch a great HD picture and have annoying sound or watch an SD picture with stellar sound.
Shame on Comcast AND HBO for such shoddy offerings to paying customers.
